During the "Boom Time" many REALTORS actually sold property without ever viewing the homes, or dealing with a financing issue. The buying frenzy was so great buyers waived all contingencies and purchased homes site unseen.
But those days are gone.  And good riddance!  Service is once again the name of the game.  A REALTOR's skill and effort makes all the difference in the new market.
Chief among these skills is the art of negotiation.  Buyers and Sellers who are interviewing REALTORS should look for the following attributes.

East Harriet Farmstead:
East Harriet is most well known for Lakewood Cemetary, and the neighborhood's extensive green space, full of gardens and parks.  Bordered by 36th St. on the north and 46th St. to the south. Lyndale Ave. is the eastern boundary; Lake Harriet and Lakewood Cemetery largely make up the western border of the neighborhood. In addition to these Minneapolis landmarks, the Lyndale Park Rose Garden, Clara Barton Open School, Theodore Wirth House and the Thomas Sadler Roberts Bird Sanctuary are located within East Harriet.

My 15 minutes of fame - I'm in the news! - 09/05/07 12:25 PM
I guess Andy Worhal was right when he said, "In the future everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes"
But, in my case, it was more like 15 seconds.
KSTP asked Pat Paulson, another GreatMinneapolis agent, to help with a story on the condo market.  They interview Pat Paulson at our office, and then I showed the reporter a unit we have listed.
While the piece took the typical media slant of telling the most dire story possible, I did greatly appreciate the exposure.  It's an interesting experience, I'm very self conscious.  Seeing myself on the news was really embarrassing, I really need a … (0 comments)
