This has got to be one of the most unique and enjoyable events of the winter. Kites of all shapes, colors and sizes take to the sky above Lake Harriet. What develops is an explosion of color and excitement, hot chocolate, and cider are passed as neighbors and friends enjoy the (0 comments)

Here is one for the Myth Busters! Apparently Lake Nokomis Walleye really do glow in the dark. I've heard this one before and assumed it was, what else, a "fish tail". Apparently there may be some truth to it. Most Minnesotans already know that Walleye's have reflective, almost luminescent eye's - hence (0 comments)
