<p><strong>They say Doctors are the worst patients.......</strong>are Salespeople the worst customers...? I was in a furniture store today, looking around for a family room set...not really ready to buy yet, but just wanted to get my feet wet (haven't we all heard that :) </p>
<p>Of course as soon as I walk in a guy comes running up to me...and asks if I need help..I tell him to give me his card and if I see something, I'll come find him.. I<strong> had a couple of questions for him about a couple of sofas</strong>...as I am looking at each of the sofas with him asking questions, he is trying to close me on each sofa... almost acting impatient that I was not sure which one I wanted, if at all....</p>
<p><strong>It got pretty uncomfortable actually....to the point...that I decided to leave</strong>, and if I return again, I won't work with him!!! <p>I read a story today on CNN...that<strong>Opec is going to reduce the amount of oil they produce to raise prices</strong>...aint that a kick in the head.. these guys need to take their lumps like the rest of us..and deal with it...but since we are indentured servants to these oil producing nations.....we have to put up with this nonsense.</p>

<p><p>I have had clients in the middle of a deal go out and buy a car or spend money on something large....using a credit card, they don't realize the problems this causes, The bank will pull the credit specifally for this reason, before going to closing.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Fast forward to today, I have these clients come to me and want to write a contract on a home, they tell me that they found their loan officer online....he is in Ohio or something. So, I want to make sure this is a living breathing individual...I talk to the guy, and he is all about the money, the commission, wanting me to get $12K closing cost assist for a $200K home..... Not for nothing, but I am sure there are very good loan officers out there on the Internet, I just prefer to work with someone who is a little more invested in their clients, then through the computer...this guy is offering them a rate they can get no where else, and terms that they have not been able to get anywhere....... Stay tuned...this is going to get interesting.. :)</p>

<p> My son Quinn, has been a gymnast since he was 5, it's all he's known.....he made the decision to leave the sport last year, he was burnt out..it's a very tough sport...they train 5 days a week, and it's grueling.....He decided to return to the sport this year, ......he is only 13, but knows he wants to go to William and Mary for college, and then try out for the Olympics in 2016...What a kid!</p>

<p>I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but things in real estate, at least in my area, have gotten a little slower in the last couple of weeks..you can feel it in the air.....With the election approaching, it seems as though people are collectively holding their breath waiting to see what is going to happen before they make a move....</p>
<p>After surveying my children's stash of candy from their Halloween outing, and relieving them of my favorites.....I am still feeling the left over sugar high from last night.....it's Saturday, but I think the next few days leading into the election..things will be slow....and it's just as well, while I nurse my Halloween hangover.....On Wednesday.....barring any hanging chads...it will be time to get back to work.</p>

<p>All the months of campaigning, the drama, the commercials, the appearances on talk shows, news stations, rallies, and even Saturday Night Live...all this excitement leading up to the elections....I went in to cast my ballot, stood in line everyone was very quiet almost somber, I got my little card, stood in the booth, cast my vote and walked out of the polling place.... I was waiting for a band to play, or some sort of celebratory ending to all this...but I just got in my car and drove away.....Seems very anti climatic given all the hub bub.... </p>

<p>My poor husband, was the first to go in...and was attacked they were everywhere...we set off bombs in the house...but these little buggers didn't give up...we went in a week later and they were still there, we put flea powder, flea spray...you name it...I have never had an encounter with fleas before...so we were a little perplexed.....in the end it all came down to borax, salt and vacuming the rug.....apparently even though you bomb, it does not kill the eggs, you throw down, borax and salt, and leave it...it apparently dehydrates the eggs and does not let them hatch..... then you vacum them up..:)</p>
