Ever wonder why we as real estate professionals let the media set our attitudes about real estate?  If you believe the news and it's "doom and gloom" forecasts for the industry, it's enough to make you want to go to bed and lie in a fetal position. 

Actually, the opposite is true.  While the upward spiraling of home prices are coming down, especially in California and Florida, the market is solid.  There will always be a home market, i.e. people need to buy a home, people need to sell a home, people look to invest in real estate, etc.  It's time we as realtors let our clients and our customers know how it really is!!!  The media (24 hour news channels) love to report how BAD it is.  It's our job to let people know it's not really bad.  As a matter of fact, mortgage rates are low, now is a great time to buy.

Let's put the true message out.  And most importantly, don't let the media tell you how bad it is, and affect your business.
