Happy Spring | Bergen County New Jersey Real Estate Update - 03/21/11 01:38 PM
Hi everybody Spring arrived yesterday evening and it was a beautiful day for our open house. The sun shone and  temps were in the 50's bringing out several groups of prospective buyers.Yet today Monday we awoke to the scene below.What a rude surprise......
And this.....The crocus that had just popped up looked like this.Picture courtesy of Joel FingerBut this snow will not last as temps have already risen making most of this dreaded white stuff disappear....Thankfully.....Hard to fathom that it was snowing this morning since it was 80 degrees just a few days ago...Go figure....Now it's off to work...

Hi everybody ,For my Sunday Photo post today I wanted to show you how the town of Hillsdale has not changed too too much through the years.Below are two postcards that are not dated but I would "guestimate" them from around the 1930's or 40's? Possibly? They are not dated and are courtesy of PVPhotobase.org
And another angle form back then.Many do not know this but the sidewalks in the front of the stores in Hillsdale were boardwalks until they made concrete sidewalks. You can almost see them in this shot.Many years later it doesn't look like the downtown area … (12 comments)

Hi everybody,Yes it's that time of the year again to spring forward and set our clocks forward one hour. Yes we lose an hour of sleep but more importantly we gain an hour of daylight. ....... I'm all for that....But the most important reminder here is to change those batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors if they are not hard wired in your home.
