Real Estate trends

Here at The Group Incorporated they are very big on statistics. I though it was interesting to not that in our market your odds of selling your home home in the 4th quarter are 50% greater than in the first quarter. The suplly shrinks in the fourth quarter while demand has continued to stay strong. That has held true here in Northern Colorado for over a decade. For those of you who typically "slow down " in the winter remember that its a state of mind and you need to stay positive to gets positive results. There is plenty of activity out there and plenty of business to be had so keep up the pace and tell your sellers and buyers!!!!!

new company

well its been forever since I was able to do this because I moved!! I am now with The Group Inc. here in northern colorado. My contact info has changed and so has the web address. You can check out the new site at www.therealestateberin.com or at www.landberin.com. I will begin to post the long awaited photos of the project here in Old Town Fort Collins. I hope everyone enjoys it and learns from it.

word on the street is that the rockies were swept in the series. i refuse to believe this just yet. i know its true but i want to hold on to the magic a little longer.

lastly i heard that Bank of America will be shutting down their wholesale division as of Dec. This will undoubtedly effect the independent mortgage brokers. i also heard that they may buy out Countrywide and that would mean the same for Countrywide. I just hope they leave some room for the little guys. Without the independent brokers having access to these programs we all suffer a little bit.

New Project

I will be starting a new project in Old Town Fort Collins this month for anyone interested. I will documenting the rebirth (so to speak) of a 1950's brick ranch. Watch as we take you through the process of turning this single story brick ranch into a two story phenom in the heart of Old Town!! Recently we made it through a major hurdle with the Historic Society. After careful consideration back by lots of facts and photos we passed through the desk review without fail. No lengthy red tape "delay process" here. Whew! I have seen other projects get stalled for years. Watch soon for pics and progress reports.

Mortgages

Wow! Is anyone else a little bummed on all the negative media in the Real Estate world? Just remember folks the economy is fueled by our own spending. If we close our wallets then inevitably the dooms-day scenario of a recession will come true. Keep plugging along one deal at a time and we will be fine. After all... we all need a place to live right?
