Almost 20 years ago, when I was working for a TV station in Lethbridge Alberta, we took part in the greatest Television Promotional Event on the Planet! Back then the station was called 2&7 Lethbridge, and together with our sister station 2&7 Calgary, we put on an event to promote our on-air programming of Star Trek: the Next Generation called Voyage to Vulcan. During the show, fans would call in for a chance to win their seat on the Voyage to Vulcan. When the contest was complete, 6 or 7 bus loads of Star Trek fans were launched from Lethbridge and Calgary … (2 comments)
