However, my friend was recovering from a serious illness, so my wife and I decided to join her and her husband. We were pleasantly surprised. Let me first say I am a believer in Home Warranties. It not only protects our Buyers, Sellers, but also Realtors. In a world where we must be attuned to CYA, a Home Warranty is a must in my real estate transactions.

Yesterday I received in the mail a letter from my electric utility company. First Energy is offering a Free Programmable Thermostat. The programmable thermostat is Select Carrier's ComfortChoice Thermostat. The company will install it also free of charge. The "green part" is that I will be able to save energy and money. The "big brother" part is that during peak electric periods the utility company will be able to adjust my thermostat by 4 degrees for a period of 4 hours.
