Last week I had the privelege of singing at a benefit breakfast at the Spokane Club for the Starlight Starbright foundation. This wonderful foundation provides support, entertainment, education and recreation for families of critically ill children.
I have 5 of my own children, and they are all healthy and I can't imagine the stress of having a critically ill child. Years ago, I volunteered at Deaconess hospital for nealy 5 years providing music for children on monday mornings during clinci time. Information Courtesy of Spokane Association of Realtors March closed sales activity continued an upward trend for the second month with 376 closed sales reported.
This number is up 83 sales over February or 28%. The average sales price in March was $197,110 and the median price was $177,875.
1st Quarter sales are down 458 compared to last years 1st Quarter. The average selling price for the 1st Quarter is $200,363 down slightly from last years 1st Quarter average selling price of $202,271. Median 1st Quarter price is up 1.7% over last years figure, $177,898 compared … (0 comments)

As a resident of Spokane's south hill, I have experienced first hand the amazing quality of life here. Spokane, Washington. Home. My home for nearly 50 years. I never tire of the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. With Spring here, I am looking so forward to hikes along the river, lake hopping, and riding our amazing centennial trail. The river is STUNNING, Take a look see! :
Downtown Spokane is amazingly beautiful, and offers great shopping at Nordstrom, Macy's, Pottery Barn and so much more. How many places can you shop and then just seconds later take a gondola ride over one of the most beautiful rivers in the world?

I was discussing the concept of "highest and best use" for a piece of property with another realtor the other day. When the words "highest and best use" came out of my mouth, something stirred within me. I thought -what a great principle for LIFE. What is the highest and best use of my life? My time? My talents? My energy? My money?
I have been pondering this in all aspects of my life.
Highest and Best. Thats what I want. Thats what I am here for.

The market is so different all over the US, But since the "mortgage meltdown" many consumers are scared. They wonder about their homes value in such a mysterious market. These fears have been fed by the media, and wether or not your individual market is somewhat frightening, the general public seems to be very negative about the market- from my experience.
I am doing everything I can to accentuate the positives, and here in the northwest, there is alot to be thankful for. While there few buyers and more sellers than in the past few years, each one deserves our support … (2 comments)
