The new Cary Art Center will be up and running full time soon!  To get a taste of all they have to offer, try a few Art Appetizers.  Art Appetizers are free classes that shall show you what different classes and programs will be like.

Every weekend there is one going on somewhere in the neighborhood, and you just have to be there at 8am to make sure that Shirley down the block doesn't pick up all the good stuff.  When out for a drive, the Yard Sale sign always catches the eye and brings about wonder and curiousity of what kind of items this particular one has in store.

A healthy mix of two worlds never hurt anyone.  How about the pairing of old school jazz with modern R&B?  The Monitors play both types of music, and have been successful in their many shows as back up for Otis Redding, Major Lance, Joyce Thorne, and Connie Harvey to name a few.  They have opened for Ray Charles and Roberta Flack, who was once the lead singer of the group.  In recent years, they have toured with the North Carolina Symphony.
