2012 is here. Do you have your business planning done? I like to look at it as putting the Big rocks in, the smaller rocks, the pebbles, the sand and then the water. For me, I have three wonderful grandchildren so they are definitely BIG ROCKS and they all live far away so I need to schedule time away from the office. Other BIG ROCKS include my 2012 Goal for income and how to do it, conferences I want to attend, and things I want to share with others that have my business a success. Very excited to go to the Raleigh's Angus Barn today and venture down to the wine cellar.   If you have never had that pleasure of seeing the wine cellar and eating in the wine cellar, it is one of those MUST DO events in life.   A special occasion treat.

A tip from Skinny. . . . .Unhappy house plants? When showing off your home, it’s nice to see some floral arrangements or hanging plants in the house. With the volatility in the stock market, the recent debt ceiling debate/fiasco, and consumer confidence waning we thought it would be useful to give up an update on market conditions for Wake County through the end of the 2nd Quarter 2011.
Some good news:
Wake County had a 1.16% increase in workforce according to the NC Employment Security Commission and unemployment rates dropped to 7.6% versus the previous 8.6%.

Just a little tidbit.   I leaned this from Jack Cotton, Real Estate Broker in Massachusetts.
After the hurricane, watch out for bumble bees and wasps -- they show up in groves after a hurricane.
If you get the wind gusts, but not much rain, be sure to go out and water your lawns and your shrubs and flowers becasue if you don't, the sea salt will kill the vegetation.
