Political Hell
A powerful senator dies after a prolonged illness. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.
"Welcome to Heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."

politics: Electoral College: And the winner is? - 12/15/08 05:28 AM
Well today is the day the Electoral College will vote for who will be the President and Vice President of the United States of America.
The Electoral College are representatives who we voted for this on November the 4th and they are gathering today to cast their votes.
The big question about the Electoral College is: Are they needed?
I can see the agreement against the Electoral College after all we here about it every four years. The reason I hear the most is that the College takes away our right to vote for the President we want. Well, the Constitution … (3 comments)

politics: White House Tree Ornament Supports Impeachment - 12/03/08 10:42 PM
Early this year First Lady Laura Bush had asked members of Congress to pick local artists to make ornaments for the White House Christmas Tree.
Well Rep. Jim McDermott (Wash.-D) picked Deborah Lawrence for one of the ornaments. Now a Christmas Tree ornament you would think would honor Christ, a Christmas theme, U.S. History, an American Hero, or some other Holiday theme. But, not Deborah Lawrence she made a choice to decorated the ornament with pictures and text of Rep. Jim McDermott commending his efforts to call for the impeachment of a president.
