 A Walmart corporate official confirmed recently that Walmart is still planning on opening in Royse City.  The new store will be located at the northwest corner of Interstate 30 and Erby Campbell Boulevard.  According to the Associated Press on Monday, January 16, the due diligence phase is still in process and the exact size and timeline for construction is not finalized.

The commute from Rockwall County to Dallas and surrounding areas just got shorter!  The opening of the George Bush Eastern Extension has been long awaited by the residents of Rockwall County as well as all the eastern communities.
