When looking at total sales,September ended up being somewhat of a dissapointment, with sales taking a 9.4% dip, ending up at 7,892.  This is almost 10% off the 2011 average of 8,765.  That being said, there were several areas that improved in the past 30 days, as you will see from this report.
ARMLS recently released the numbers for September/2011 in their monthly STAT Report, and they are very interesting.  Here is a breakdown of what happened in September/2011 in the Metro Phoenix Real Estate Market:

I have a Phoenix short sale listing on a beautiful home, priced at $399,900.  This past weekend, we received 3 offers on the home.  Our first choice ended up being an all-cash offer at $379,000.  Our 2nd choice was a financed offer at $380,000, and the 3rd came in at $350,000.

My Phoenix Short Sale Client Just Received A $20,000 Check From Chase!
As some of you may know, I've written articles of the trials and tribulations we have gone through in the new Chase "Foreclosure Outreach" or "Short Sale Outreach" Program.  
Today, I'm happy to announce that this program is indeed "for-real", and below is a copy of the Final HUD to prove it (sensitive information has been removed).  

Please look at line 506, and notice that the Chase Seller Incentive that was paid to my client was $20,000.  Not a bad deal for short-selling your home, huh?
