HOME LOAN INTEREST RATES RISING - 03/09/11 04:21 PM
As many of you may have heard, interest rates are creeping further up. Effective March 7, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) www.ohiohome.org announced it would increase its interest rate for the First Time Home Buyer Program by .25%. The interest rate for a FTHB with 2.5% down payment assistance grant will change to 4.5%; without down payment assistance, and 5.0% with down payment assistance.
