I'm always amazed at the number of home buyers who stroll through an open house at the model of a new construction site.  Now granted, a large portion of these people are just looking for fun during the Parade of Homes. But a surprising number are serious, pre-qualified buyers, ready and willing to purchase a home.  And so often they have no representation!  What a scary thought. 
I equate this practice to going into a court case against a lawyer and you don't have a legal background.  You think you're coming out of the courtroom a winner?  Best of luck to you.  … (2 comments)

Have you ever noticed how media, and most any information for consumers, is just a step behind realty?  For the past 2 years or so, we've been experiencing a downward shift in the market.  In 2006, it was the real estate market's 'dirty little secret'.  In 2007, reports started coming out the we've started to see a decline in real estate.  Guess what?  It was there since 2006.  And then in 2008, Chicken Little reared his dreary little head and pronounced to the world that the sky was falling.
