I was in Panther Trace yesterday previewing some homes that are for sale for some friends of mine. There are many wetland conservation areas and as I passed one of the wetlands, I spotted two adults and two chick Sandhill Cranes. I pulled onto the side of Panther Trace Boulevard to capture a series of pictures as mom and dad Sandhill foraged for food.
