I remember when I first got my real estate license, way back when in 1985. Listen up all you kids, as a real estate agent in those days I had to walk to work barefoot in the snow, uphill, both ways. A cup of coffee cost 5¢, a gallon of gas was 35¢... oh wait, wrong memory, sorry. Its history began on January 20, 1857, when John Brandon arrived at Fort Brooke (now Tampa) from Mississippi with his wife Martha and six sons. At first he moved his family to what is now the Seffner area.
