Why are we still paying $3.00 a gallon for Gas? - 10/16/08 07:20 AM
According to an article that I read yesterday from the USA Today Website, Oil Prices dipped below $75 per barrel.  The record that was set back in July was $147.27 which is basically a 50% drop in cost.  So if Gas Prices at the pump topped to about $4.11 per gallon when each barrel cost approximately $147.27 then why didn't the prices at the pump also fall by about 50%?  Right now they are still about $3.00 per gallon.  So the prices for US AT THE PUMP who are the ones really impacted the most have only fallen about 27%.  What happened … (9 comments)
