1 onion, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, smashed
2 fresh sage leaves
2 teaspoons kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 medium canned plum tomatoes
1 medium butternut squash (about 2 pounds), peeled, halved, seeded, and diced
4 cups low-sodium chicken broth or water
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar

Great turkey recipe - even for people who can’t cook!!!
Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a  stuffing - imagine that.
When I found this recipe, I thought it was  perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try.
10-15 lb. turkey
2 cup melted butter
2 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm  is Good.)
2 cup uncooked popcorn  (ORVILLE REDENBACHER’S LOW FAT…..of course)
Salt/pepper to taste

The Carnival of the Recipes, Wimbledon Edition is up at New Hampshire State of Mind. Welcome to Carnival of the Recipes, Wimbledon Edition! To me, The Championship's Wimbledon herald the arrival of summer and after a long winter and wet spring up here in New Hampshire, summer is a very good thing! I've never played tennis, don't pretend to understand the game, but nonetheless, I celebrate summer's arrival with a few matches on the tele along with a pint or two of good ale. Any of the following recipes would make a good accompaniment to this history rich tournament.
