Most of you don’t know me, but I’ve been around AR for about seven years. Twenty something thousand have looked at my AR profile. I’ve posted 1,072 blogs. Some pretty good, others not so good. Sometimes only a handful read what I had to say; other times, a hundred or so. But rarely a number of readers that seem to justify the time I put into writing them, especially when most times I am sharing what I have learned from education and more than forty years as a broker. Active Rain's membership of real estate professionals seems to be about 200,000. I believe when I first joined up that there were about 50,000. The other day I heard on Bloomburg News that bloggers are leaving that practice by the droves, now favoring posting their thoughts on Facebook and Twitter. Apparently posters are finding they are getting their messages out to more people, and a more focused group of people. The most hits I ever got on an Active Rain post was about 24,000. Here are my figures. I don't know what they mean, but I need to reveal them to you if I'm going to tell you about my Active Rain experience.
