greenville sc homes for sale: New Things Happening Around Upstate South Carolina! - 07/16/10 11:54 AM
In the recently released CNBC Fourth Annual America's Top States for Business Report, South Carolina has gained ground. SC is now ranked in the top six when it comes to cost of doing business and the workforce. Unfortunately, SC is still ranked lower for quality of life, economy and education. This report goes state by state. It would be very interesting to see a breakdown within the state, because I believe that the Upstate of SC would rank much higher. Our economy, while taking hits like every place else, is pretty robust. Likewise, our education system has many nationally ranked schools,

greenville sc homes for sale: Short Sales - New Strategy - 07/11/09 10:30 PM
I had a wonderful conversation with a fellow Craig Proctor coaching member from Illinois. He has just started focusing on short sales as one of his primary means of income. I have worked on some short sales before, but the techniques that he shared with me have the potential to allow me to close more short sales and increase the income I can make from them. One of the techniques that I liked was that whenever he finds a seller who is going to need to sell their home through a short sale, he submits an offer to the bank immediately

greenville sc homes for sale: Orlando - What A City - 07/11/09 10:06 PM
Orlando is a great place to visit. I'm not sure if I'd want to live here, but that's because my ideal city is a little less... busy. Overall though, I really enjoy each time I get to venture down South to the home of Disney World and the many other attractions. I haven't been able to really enjoy the attractions of Orlando yet, because each of my three trips here have been for business... but I'm sure that will change soon enough :) I want to see Mickey one of these days! I have a hotel on International Drive, partly because

greenville sc homes for sale: Insurance Rentals - We Made A Big Deal Happen Today! - 05/16/09 09:49 PM
I had some clients who were very interested in getting their property sold, but things weren't moving fast enough. They had little to no equity in it, as they'd purchased it just a year before, so we couldn't do much with the price. I asked them if they'd like me to market it as a rental and for lease/purchase, and they agreed. A few days after we started the marketing, I got a call from an agent who had a couple and three kids who had lost their house in a fire. The agent represented the insurance company, and was trying

greenville sc homes for sale: Courage Is Found In Action... Or... The Nike Principle - 12/13/08 10:11 PM
I have often found agents who feared to do something. They failed in some part of their business, simply because fear overcame them. The phone is often a culprit of this - they are fearful of making lead generation calls because they think they'll "bother" someone, or get yelled at because they interrupted dinner, or a whole host of things. Courage isn't something that comes in a bottle, a pill, a package, or through osmosis. Courage most often comes from doing - or taking ACTION. Confidence is born of the same thing. Nike has perhaps the BEST slogan of any shoe

greenville sc homes for sale: It's A Great Day In Greenville! - 11/29/08 09:03 PM
I've had several calls lately from buyers who live up North, and they all seem to ask the same question: How's the weather down there? The weather here is a great blessing, especially in the winter time. So far, there have been about two weeks where I needed a coat outside. We get snow a couple times a year, and if it sticks for more than 24 hours it's unusual. Ice storms happen infrequently but we'll usually get a coating of ice about once a year. Summers are hot and humid, with temperatures in the nineties most of the season. I

greenville sc homes for sale: Has Anyone NING'ed Lately? - 11/22/08 09:53 PM
Brian Langley, a good friend and colleague at the office, recently introduced me to ning.com, a website where you can create your own social network sites. These sites are similar to facebook, and allow you to create groups for any reason. In five minutes, he and I created a group for our office, just to see how easy it was. Then, my mind started exploring the possibilities for using ning. My first thought was to create a website for any farm that an agent has. It would be a great way to keep in touch with your farm, and it would
