I had a wonderful conversation with a fellow Craig Proctor coaching member from Illinois. He has just started focusing on short sales as one of his primary means of income. I have often found agents who feared to do something. They failed in some part of their business, simply because fear overcame them. The phone is often a culprit of this - they are fearful of making lead generation calls because they think they'll "bother" someone, or get yelled at because they interrupted dinner, or a whole host of things.
Courage isn't something that comes in a bottle, a pill, a package, or through osmosis. Courage most often comes from doing - or taking ACTION. Confidence is born of the same thing.

After racking up nearly 200,000 points, I was pleasantly surprised to find that a silly post on business planning was featured on the Active Rain homepage. I've had several calls lately from buyers who live up North, and they all seem to ask the same question: How's the weather down there?
The weather here is a great blessing, especially in the winter time. So far, there have been about two weeks where I needed a coat outside. We get snow a couple times a year, and if it sticks for more than 24 hours it's unusual. Ice storms happen infrequently but we'll usually get a coating of ice about once a year.
