We are so lucky here in Kinderhook, NY to have some of the best of the best. We don't have alot of retail business, but what we have, we have the best . Linda and Owen of Lindowen American County search far and wide for country antiques and folk art to fill their store all year round. It is a week of a self guided driving tour featuring local food and products from the best independent local farms and restaurants in Columbia and Albany, Rensselaer counties. With the Columbia County Fair gone for another year, we all focus on other events happening in the area. The Modest Sale at the Kinderhook Memorial Library on September 13, the day of our Village wide Yard Sale, is from 10:00 - 2:00. Their are no tired or warn books here and those that don't sell for $5.00 and $10.00 are half price at noon.  Childrens books are always $.25 Drive thru town and see the trash and treasure on Kinderhooks lawns.
