As I near the half century mark on this planet, reminders of my age surround me.  My arms are not quite long enough for some reading materials.  I can't get through 18 holes without a twinge or two in my lower back.   The President is my age.  Last weekend, however was extra brutal.  My 16 year old son's girlfriend added another nail in the coffin.  Before I can tell you that story, I need to take you back to 1977 (cue the harp and wavy lines).  It seems like only yesterday...

Just had a colleague send me this link, and I've got to share it with the Rainers...  The site is http://www.allmyfaves.com.  If you're the visual type, you are gonna love this site.  Clickable images for just about every popular site you can think of.  Unfortunately, I didn't find ActiveRain listed on the site.  Let's figure out how to get it added!  Don't forget to click along the top tabs for even more choices.

Can the Bolts do it again? - 01/07/09 05:53 PM
So, 4-8 as they enter December, and now the San Diego Chargers have a chance to win another post season game in Steel Town...  2-0 in Pittsburgh in the playoffs (we won't talk about the regular season record) and the Bolts want to make it 3-0!  Unbelievable defense led by Harrison and Palamalu will be a tough nut to crack, but I think Rivers, Spoles, Gates and co. have a shot.  Oh yeah, don't forget the MVP from the Colts win, Mike Scifres!!  I've been in the desert 9 years now since leaving SD, and I really never thought I'd see … (3 comments)
