Last time in Fun With Ken and Barbie we calculated their Cash Needed Budget for when they retire. They "down-sized" from their big family home into a nice two bedroom house in a very nice gated community with all the amenities that they wanted. They are happy there.

As Baby Boomers approach retirement they need to do a little planning.
The most important plan is the CASH NEEDED plan. This is a complete assessment of how much money you will need each month to maintain your lifestyle.
We are going to use a fictional couple, Ken and Barbie (at least I think they are fictional) as an example.
