sedro woolley: Skagit County Median Home Prices Are Holding Steady in 2010 - 11/05/10 06:19 PM
Skagit County Median Home Prices Are Holding Steady in 2010. We keep hearing on the news about all the doom and gloom about the economy and falling home prices that the media can muster. However; here in Skagit County it just ain't so! The economic report for October 2010 showed that America gained 151,000 jobs. This was more than double the predicted gain according to Reuters. Woohoo! Reviewing the statistics from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) Monthly Recaps from January through October 2010 shows that the median home prices are holding steady in 2010. Woohoo!! We've got a long way

sedro woolley: A Housing Shortage in Skagit County? - 08/27/08 10:22 PM
Since President Bush signed the Housing Bill on July 30th, I've experienced a huge surge in business! I was curious to see if it was simply me having some good results, or if there has been a shift in the market. I ran a search of homes for sale in Mt. Vernon, Burlington, and Sedro Woolley priced under $300,000. There are currently 422 Active listings in the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS). There are an additional 101 homes that have Contingent/Pending transactions on them. That is a very healthy number! It indicates that a Seller's Market is on the way! A

sedro woolley: The press is catching on.... The market has hit bottom! - 08/27/08 04:18 PM
I just watched the video below reported by Conway Gittens of the Reuters news agency. The real estate market nationwide had a nice rebound in July, offering hope that the worst is over!Consumer confidence showed a sharp rebound as well...Enjoy the video! I've been experiencing a solid resurgence of business since President Bush signed the Housing Bill at the end of July. The inventory of homes priced under $300,000 in Mount Vernon, Burlington & Sedro Woolley is down to a 4 month supply of homes, suggesting a Seller's Market... Thats right, I said a Seller's Market.Believe it.... It is coming.

sedro woolley: I Captured an Elk... - 09/03/07 02:20 AM
I Captured an Elk... With My Camera of Course... This big guy was out for a stroll just a little West of the development "Elk Haven" in Sedro Woolley. Nice to see that all the construction has not kept these magnificent animals away.... I was returning from a home inspection in Concrete when I saw a few cars pulled off the side of the road and the people all had cameras... I looked in the direction they were looking and saw this big elk wandering around. Unfortunately, I didn't have my tri-pod with me and the elk was at least 500 yards away...

sedro woolley: Skagit County Residential Homes Sales Statistics - June 2007 - 07/08/07 12:30 PM
As we enter the Summer market in Skagit County, we have 1/3 more homes Active on the market than we did this time last year... This could mean that a market slow-down is on the way and it could mean that the real selling season is simply starting a bit later this year. Afterall, we had a very rough Winter this year and a lot of things got messed up for a lot of people. So far this year, I've personally been seeing solid market sales, though I have noticed it taking a bit longer market time for Listings to sell. - Increased inventory is giving Buyers more
