What is the Best State to Live In? - 04/25/07 09:05 AM
I was born in Alabama but was only there for 9 months. Ever since then I have lived in Kentucky. I really do love Kentucky because it has so much to offer. You really do get to see all four of the seasons and the summers are not that crazy hot but the winters are just a little rough. There are tons of activities that you can do here in the state. Wonderful golf courses, Six Flags theme park, very nice downtowns, a lot of great bars and the industries in town are very good for the major part of the employment.

Ever since I started this business almost 4 years ago I didn't have a processor to help me work my loans quickly and fast. I recently just added to my team a Processor. IT HAS HELPED AND IS WONDERFUL. I can spend a heck of alot of more time out marketing, prospecting and (blogging) I never have had one till about a month ago and my business has doubled. I am able to leave the office and go talk to new clients and not have to worry about my loans back at the office not getting done.

What do you do when you get a client that wants to do a deal with you but just won't sign the paperwork? How do I overcome this rough part with my client? Here is the deal and you let me know what you think.

What I love about Derby festival in Louisville Kentucky is all the fun that is about to go down. Last weekend we had what is called Thunder of Louisville. That was the best time ever. It is an all day event with an air-show and a 30 minute firework show that is a site to see! But my favorite events are coming up and those are the Oak's and Derby!!! I am starting to get alot more leads and referrals from places that I can not go and meet. I try my hardest to meet everyone I do a loan for. I want them to remember my face and my name. But now since we are getting tighter in our market I have to go outside of my area. Does anyone have any good ideas on making sure my client gets my mortgage package signed and returned to me? Hello Everyone. If you have never been to Louisville Kentucky for any Derby Festival Events you are missing out huge. Our downtown turns into the biggest playground ever. Kicking off the events are Thunder Over Louisville! Its the largest fireworks show in the United States. Its unreal. Plus starting at 3PM is an all day long air-show, everything from F-16's to the stealth fighter. It is so much fun and its down on the riverfront. Middletowns New Wal-Mart - 04/10/07 08:27 AM
Hope everyone in Middletown is getting excited about the new Super Wal-Mart being built were the old Biggs building used to be. I am really excited because I love Wal-mart and it will bring alot of jobs to Middletown and make this city even bigger. Open Houses 12-6 Too Long?? - 04/10/07 08:22 AM
I am joining a client of mine that is selling his house. He has spent over a thousand dollars on ads, color flyers, Internet postings to have this huge open house this weekend. The hours are this. Friday 12-6. Saturday 12-6 and Sunday 12-5. In your opinion is this too long of a time period to have a Open House? He is only having one and this is it. He is an investor and flips properties. I have my financing info there and will be there on site (as advertised on his newspaper ads) Saturday and Sunday.

One of the main things that I try to-do is show them that one of the major factors in selling your home is the not the home but the financing. DONUTS GET EM WHILE THERE HOT~ - 04/05/07 08:59 AM

When I first started trying to earn business from realtors and builders I had someone tell me that I should take them donuts. But why donuts? Donuts are a great ice breaker to meet the whole crew... IF YOU CAN GET IN THE DOOR. My take on this is that I am trying to make people feel warm in the morning because most people are not morning people.
