It is imperative to price homes at or just slightly under what we consider to be "Market Value" as we continue to compete with foreclosure properties and short sales. Everyone is looking for a bargain, and if a property is not considered to be a value or bargain, it will be overlooked.

Happy Thanksgiving! 2009 has been on of the most challenging years in my life. The economy, family health issues, and dealing with the financial woes of many of my clients and friends. Through it all, with the support of some incredible friends, I practiced being grateful for all the good in my life.  At times it was very difficult. I spent time doing what brings me happiness...performing in the theater and I went back to training my singing voice with the greatest coach imaginable! Great Open Houses! Things are picking up!!! - 11/23/09 06:13 AM
Yesterday I did two open house. I had 12 couples to one of them, and I got an offer on another by the end of the day. Could the Ridgefield CT market really be picking up? I think it is. If homes are priced at or slightly below their sold comparable property prices, the consumer is seeing value and making offers. Pricing is the key. Price thise homes right and sell, sell, sell!!!
