It's Autumn!!!!
This is a wonderful time of year for me for many reasons.
The upcoming holiday's, the beautiful colors, and SUMMER IS OVER!!!!!
As you may have seen me mention before, summertime in Yuma, Arizona can easily mean temperatures that reach well over 110*!!! We give a whole new meaning to "scorching" down here! So I'm sure that you can see why I look forward to autumn!
When I was growing up, we would always spend our family vacations at my Grandmother's house in Newcastle, Utah which is located just 30 minutes from Cedar City.
We would spend our days looking for arrowheads, fishing, going hunting, camping, and my dad even went on a cattle drive one summer!
I have the BEST memories of these vacations!
So times have changed, like they do, and my parents have left Yuma and moved back to Utah, just outside of Cedar City, about 30 minutes from where my mom was raised. I now get to take my children to Grandma's house in Utah on our family vacations!
Well yesterday my mom e-mailed me some pictures of Cedar Mountain in Utah that my aunt took just last week, and the colors are absolutely beautiful!!!
So I just had to share them with you!
