WASHINGTON - Will Congress extend the wildly popular $8,000 home-buyer tax credit beyond its Dec. 1 expiration date?
That's a question generating huge pressure on Capitol Hill, from would-be buyers who haven't found the right house to realty agents, builders, lenders and squads of lobbyists working on their behalf.

Mortgage rates sharply higher this morning..ADVICE:  LOCK IMMEDIATELYThis morning, Fannie Mae MBS Rates suffered the largest single day increase in over a year, 42.9 bps.  My best advice is to lock as soon as possible in this uncertain market.
FNMA 30Yr Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) Up 42.9 basis points* to 5.679%. 
10 Year T-Bill up 9 basis points to 3.40%
DJI Stocks opened Down 20 at 6:30 AM PST.
Crude Oil is currently $93.77 per barrel.
