I am writing this blog for several reasons. The first being because I feel like ranting. The second because not enough agents understand that they are missing out on one of the simplest and most effective tools out there. And lastly because the consumer should know what their agent might be costing them.
I’ll get this out from the beginning. I sell REO properties so I’m lazy, I never answer my phone, I’ll get what’s coming to me when the market “switches.” For those of you that don’t know me I am a sarcastic person so that last comment was me … (4 comments)

I was driving today and something hit me. Thankfully it was just me thinking and not actually something hitting the car. I'm sure I will come across as egotistical in this article but that is really not the intention. I've had the honor of being one of my area's top agents in the past few years. I'll admit that it was mostly REO sales but in a time when that's what was selling there's really nothing wrong with it. Our broker had a lender in today to discuss with us some exciting new technology--new to us at least. We've used different call capture systems before, even regular 800 #s, but this one does appear to make it easier and more effective as a tool for Realtors and lenders. Some of the neat features are the ability for us to not worry about voicing in the recording, the machine does it.
Like other systems do, this one gives you instant reminders on when someone has called your listing through text, email or other reminders.

Despite what the media says we still have 1 of the best real estate markets in the country to buy into right now. Yes, prices have gone down, but that is all part of the cycle. We are headed back up. Recently, Forbes put out an article listing the fastest growing cities in the country. Out of the top 5 I believe we had 3, and out of the top 10 we had 4--that is impressive no matter what anyone says.
