The Housatonic Resources Recovery Association (HRRA) has scheduled the next Household Hazardous Waste Day for May 19, 2007, from 9am - 2pm.
Residents of Danbury, New Fairfield, Ridgefield and Redding will be able to drop off their household hazardous waste at the Newtown Public Works Garage, located at 4 Turkey Hill Road, (0 comments)

According to the March, 2007 issue of Connecticut Magazine, Redding, CT is the top small town in the state of Connecticut (population 6,500 - 10,000).
Redding ranked #1 among similar size towns in Economy, which rated each town based on income, grand list, unemployment rate, mill (tax) rate and aid to children. (0 comments)
redding: Proposed Connecticut State Budget to Fund Education - 02/08/07 08:28 PM
Connecticut's Governor recently released her proposed budget for the state. Included are additional monies to fund education. The plan calls for an additional $1.1 Billion to be given to towns and cities over the next five years to help pay for school costs.
