This weekend we have had the pleasure of having the Warrior Dash come to the Carolinas! In Huntersville, North Carolina at Rural Hall the Warrior Dash also does have a green partner. Of course the perfect setting for this type of donation. As you walk up to the registration tent you come upon a mountain of shoes. You have to first take into consideration that during this event your shoes are going to get VERY MUDDY. Nothing like good ole North Carolina red clay!
This weekend we have had the pleasure of having the Warrior Dash come to the Carolinas! In Huntersville, North Carolina at Rural Hall the Warrior Dash was a BLAST for this first time participant and my son.
For a endurance run this was only a little over 3 miles (5K for some of you). The interesting part is the obstacles. There were 11 obstacles for this race. Some were harder then others. I will actually have to wait and see tomorrow when I wake up how I feel though. My son (0 comments)
How many buyers are out looking for acreage for either their own homesite, or maybe for a small horse farm. There are a lot of potential buyers that are not being put together with the best fit for their needs. Now while I am speaking on working with a person that is familiar with the area and considered an “Insider” that does not have to mean someone that was born and raised in the area. In some cases I have seen that actually work against an agent. For example in the (0 comments)

Ok I finally broke down and registered since there were only 25 slots left. My son told me I needed to hurry up and register since I had told him I would do this one with him. So now I am committed. I have spent my money and now am locked in. My son Kyle and I are in training now for the Warrior Dash end of this month in Huntersville, NC I kind of feel sorry for my son (2 comments)
OK so it does not go as far back as our own Charles Buell but, I am being told much more these days that 50 is old. Now of course I still am not about to start acting my age (not sure I would know how even if I wanted to).
While I was reading Charles’s own story I actually did ponder and decided to participate in this “childish” contest. If nothing else to feel younger and take that stroll back to a simpler time when the only stress I had (11 comments)

Taking my youngest to the Greensboro Natural Science Museum is home to many animals from tigers to alpacas. But, of interest in todays lesson is the small but community oriented Merkat. You see Merkats always live as an extended family and they are constantly watching out for each other. You will always have the workers and rest of the community going about their daily business in the trenches. Always working and just once in awhile glancing over their shoulders but not concerned because they trust someone else (2 comments)
Why Would You List Your Davenport Short Sale With An Agent Who Doesn’t Know What A Short Sale Is? - 08/14/11 11:17 AM
Nate hits upon a great secondary topic. That while in this case the subject is about short sales and short sale agents, the other topic is how you choose your agent. Personality is just part of the puzzle and job knowledge needs to be given first place. While I would yes like to work with an attorney that is nice I know enough that if I am needing them to get results they need to be part shark also and know the law. As in this case it is nice that they got along with the agent but if they do (0 comments)

Yes after just one day and looking at ten homes after a good bit of online shopping and good information and homework we have found “The One”. So after a little more research and number crunching we will begin negotiations and get this buyer a great deal on her next home in Clemmons, North Carolina.
All Home Buyers in North Carolina looking to buy a homes for sale in Greensboro, Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas need to always have real estate brokers that look after their needs. Brokers that have patience (2 comments)
This needs to be seen by as many Realtors as Possible! Closings MAY be delayed if word does not get out! - 08/07/11 09:14 PM
An excellent blog and it needs to be read by all. This will affect all closings that have an appraisal. So we need to be proactive and getting all this additional information from our listings ahead of time. I will be using this as that basis of a training tool for my agents. Via Mary Thompson Lake Lanier Appraiser in Georgia (LakeFrontPros.com): Pass this along to every Realtor you know. Re-blog this post, whatever you can do to get the word out!
As of September 1, 2011 appraisals will change drastically. We now must complete appraisals in what is defined (0 comments)
Open House Sunday Come On Over to 2100 Rosemont in Colfax, NC - 08/06/11 10:23 PM
Open House Sunday Come On Over to 2100 Rosemont in Colfax, NC All these upgrades and a new LOWER PRICE. Come and check us out. The home backs up to a natural area at the end of a cul-de-sac. So there is plenty of privacy. They maintain the exterior and even MOW THE YARD. Just move in and relax. If you ask nicely (with the right price) they may even leave some furnishings (which have hardly been used). This was a vacation home that was not rented out.
Come join us and view the best deal in this wonderful neighborhood. A hardly lived in townhome where you don't even have to mow the grass. The homeowner's association takes care of the exterior of the unit so you can just move in and relax. Really cuts down on the Honey-Do list guys. Ladies plenty of space for planting some flowers without all the hassle of a big yard.
I know you cleaned the carpets. I am sure you cleaned the bathrooms. I bet you have straightened up all the rooms, put away all your clothes, I am sure you have even mowed the grass. Did you empty the garbage, and did you do the dishes. I bet you even sprayed air freshener all over the home.
Now some often missed areas to consider.
