Home Sellers, Marketing, Home Buyers, Housing Market, Real Estate, Economy
You have a nice cabin in the mountains but life is ever changing and now you either want or need to sell it.  You feel confident that the cabin will appeal to a lot of prospective buyers so you think it should sell fairly quickly and you can get on with your life.  After all, you love the cabin and therefore, most everyone else will too.
But, “what if” it doesn’t sell right away?
Have a backup plan in case it takes longer than you expect for your cabin to sell … (5 comments)

Richard Weisser offers some very good advice to home buyers prior to starting their search.  Getting pre-qualified is becoming common place and it only makes sense to get this important step out of the way first.

You've done all the things needed to spruce up your home and get it ready for market! Your home really shines and now you are ready to welcome potential home buyers! Except there's just one problem, What about the neighbor's house?
If you have a neighbor who doesn't keep up their home's appearance, it will affect the value of your property negatively. This is a very tough situation to be in. real estate: 2008 ! I Can See Clearly Now... - 01/01/08 03:04 AM

We were inundated with one news story after another, mostly and unbelievably negative about the real estate industry in 2007. The media sounded like a broken record with their overkill from singing the same song, same verse: the sky is falling. Many people decided for whatever reason to believe it, mostly out of fear of the unknown, I suppose. Perhaps, it was just a knee jerk reaction to what people believed was a bad market. Still, it didn't stop opportunity from knocking.

We all know that a certain amount of our population will always be on the move. Life happens and … (20 comments)
