Last week, a hacker got into my email account on MSN... This hacker made my life miserable for a week.  He/she got my address book and emailed the people in my email list.  The email subject said URGENT and said it was from me.  So, people opened it thinking it was from me.  The email said that I had to make an unexpected business trip to London and that I was in trouble and to please send me $2800.  They had my phone #'s but inverted the numbers.  If you called that number you got an answering machine.  Most people recognized … (30 comments)

It's no wonder that CNN and Money Magazine rated Simsbury, CT as one of the Top 100 Places To Live.  Last night was just an example of the good times to be had in Simsbury.   Last night my husband & I and some friends packed a picnic dinner, got our lawn chairs and had a picnic while listening to Michael Cavanaugh perform with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra at the Talcott Mountain Music Festival.  It was a glorious night and the weather was just perfect.  Young and old had a great time.  Michael Cavanaugh performed the music of Billy Joel and some … (0 comments)

It is such a spectacular day today.  The sun is shining and it is in the 80's and it's just a perfect day.  So, I thought I would post a few of my top 10 things to do in Simsbury.
1.  Play a round of golf or play tennis at Simsbury Farms Recreation Center.
2.  Enjoy the homemade ice cream at Tulmeadow Farm.
3.  Visit the Pinchot Sycamore tree.  It is the largerst tree in the state of CT.
4.  Have a fine meal at Metro Bis or another of Simsbury's great restaurants.
5.  Take the kids to the petting zoo at Flamig Farms.
