I recently was asked to participate in helping a client who wanted to make a purchase of a condo. In her attempt to make the financial requirements, she got creative in coming up with a workaround. Since she did not know how to use a computer, she suggested that I help her by going online and applying for a credit card in her name to allow her a money transfer to her account that she intended to use to cover her closing costs.  I refused to participate in this in any way and therefore lost the sale.

Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke announced that the recession is most likely over and the economy is growing in a positive direction. Signs of stabilization in the economy continue.
Consumers seem to be spending more money. The number of laid off workers applying for unemployment benefits has declined in recent weeks. Retail sales rose 2.7 percent in August, as reported by the government.  This positive news is also being recorded in real estate markets.

After receiving an $800 Water Bill last month from WSSC the local water utility in Montgomery County, MD, I have spent many hours on the phone with WSSC customer service trying to determine the problem.
