keller williams: My journey thru one of my recent short sales - 12/04/10 10:05 AM
As most of my readers know by now I specialize in short sales. Many agents claim to be an expert but when asked to show their numbers or show professional referrals, they cannot. I handle the short sales for many agents in my office as well as for several local attorneys, and have even stepped in to assist agents in other brokerage firms. Yes, I now have sufficiently patted myself on the back )!!!!! Well, my experiences with a recent short sale left me out of wind and even speechless (and anybody who is laughing thinking there is NO way I was

keller williams: A Definition of Skill - 02/19/09 07:41 AM
In my office I am known as the "go-to" person by my fellow agents for advice / help and as a sounding board. I feel honored that I am thought of in such a flattering manner by those that I work with, some of whom are major hitters in our market area. Well, the other day I got a call from one of these agents (p.s. she is an avid Active Rainer so I hope she doesn't mind me kissing and telling) to tell me about her bad day. A closing that was to happen that day didn't. Uuuugghh!!! I know

Unfortunately, this new law does not cover all homeowners. The next challenge is to figure out how much of the "gifted" money is taxable. In the eyes of the IRS if you bought

keller williams: Don't Become One of These Numbers - 07/30/08 07:18 AM
Below is an article I have copied from today's Banker and Tradesman Alert. Our market as you know is in crisis....but you do NOT have to destroy your credit and your pride with a foreclosure! Call me to see if your situation qualifies for a Short Sale. There is absolutely no guarantee that the lender will aprticipate in the short sale process or that they can do it in a time frame that is acceptable to the average buyer, however one thing is a guarantee - if you don't make your payments for whatever the reasons the bank WILL foreclose on

keller williams: Will the rate cut affect me??? - 09/20/07 06:45 AM
As most people are aware by now, the Fed, in a very wise move, decided to drop interest rates. As good as this news is I want people to understand that it DOES NOT mean that your interest rate will drop by the amount that it was lowered or even any at all. The Federal Reserve said it lowered short-term interest rates by half a percentage point, to 4.75%, to combat the effects of a weaker housing market and tighter credit on the broader economy. The steep reduction in the Fed funds rate surprised many on Wall Street who expected a
