Buying property without seeing it - NEVER!!!!! - 06/13/08 11:22 AM
Please do not buy a piece of property without seeing it first, or at least asking a Realtor to check out the property for you before you buy it as I have done for customers in the past.
Here in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania we have very few central sewer areas. This means that the property you are looking to purchase must support its own septic system. Consumers need to know that short sales are available to them so that they can avoid foreclosure.
I've met with several sellers recently that were not familiar with what short sales were. Of course their mortgage company is not going to tell them.
Does anyone know if it is the law in Pennsylvania that mortgage companies have to reveal the
short sale option to homeowners that are behind on their mortgages?
How many types of hardships are you finding the banks are willing to accept. For example, many of our homeowners are commuters from the Poconos to New York city everyday … (3 comments)
