This Adorable Chalet is no longer vacant and unloved.  Within a few short weeks she will feel the steps of loving feet and feel the warmth of personal items placed throughout her interior.

American Chocolate Week! I didn't know!  How could I not have known.  As much as I love my chocolate, I should have known this.  This is a reblog from Kathy who, like me, thinks chocolate should be their own food group, and chocolate is our favorite food group to eat.  Desserts just are not desserts if they don't have some chocolate in it. In Scranton, PA St. Patrick's Day is 'THEE" Day of the Year. The parade that the Electric City puts on is the 2nd largest parade in the Country.  It is an awesome day to go to the Scranton area.  Hopefully they day you find your Pot O' Gold!                                                             
                                                                            
Fun things to do for St. Patrick's Day will be found around every corner.  They tell me that you need to be prepared to get there early to get a good seat for this fabulous parade.

POCONO MARKET STATISTICS FOR FEBRUARY 2012 were good for the month, considering the month.  Personally I do believe that our unseasonably warm weather is inducing people to start their "spring shopping" for a vacation home in the Poconos earlier than usual.
There are currently 2000+ homes in Monroe County for sale.  For the MLS overall we have 3000+ which when you look at the absorption rate for Pocono homes at the end of February, it was 16.3 months. Last year at this time the absorption rate was 16.2 so we are "running even."
