The Cinco Ranch High School Bravo Show Choir will be presenting its latest production titled “School Daze”.
 
This production is a look at high school life as communicated by music and features songs such as “Kaleidoscope Heart”, “Chasing Seasons”, “Sing”, “Somebody to Love”, “Woods” and “Under Pressure”.

Saturday April 28, 2012 an open car show was held in the Firethorne Community Center parking lot which lasted until about 3 PM. This was third Annual holding of this event.  I was told from attendees it was a lot of fun to see last year and decided to go to take pictures and make a donation.  The Firestone Community Center is located at 28100 North Firethorne Rd. Thursday April 26, 2012 child car seat safety inspection will be conducted by the Fort Bend Sherriff’s Department. The Sheriff’s department estimates that 90 % of child car seats are being used improperly.
 
The inspection is being held at the Target department store located at 23710 Westheimer Parkway Katy TX.

Katy ISD which is the school district in Katy TX is seeking donations of smartphone. They are turning the used smartphone into Mobile Learning Devices (MLDs). These MLDs will supplement other devices the School District currently owns and this will increase the technology capability in several classrooms.
 
The School district uses a variety of Web 2.0 tools that heighten classroom learning and improves student participation due to the use of technology.

Easter Sunday we drove from Katy TX to San Antonio TX as my wife is originally from San Antonio TX. The plan was to have Easter brunch in downtown, walk along the San Antonio Riverwalk, and visit my mother-in-law's grave site at Fort Sam Houston. Unfortunately my mother-in-law died of cancer after a long and courageous battle with this terrible disease in our home back in late 2009.
