WARNING: Scam Artists out in Full Force Katy and Cypress
Well it looks like Spring has arrived here in Katy Texas and so have the scam artists. Be careful as this is I believe an old scam but one that obviously works very well. Be very careful in Katy, Cypress and for that matter all of Houston. The scam involves asking for money to supposedly buy gas for their cars or trucks. It has happened to me twice this week including today.

Unfortunately this situation has happened to me on several occasions here in Katy Texas and at least twice in the last few weeks. There are many different forms of this request or question(s) but essentially the callers or e-mailers or both are asking me for assistance and want the original agent to receive all the commission. The 38th annual Houston Fishing show is being held at the George R. Brown Convention Center starting on Wednesday March 6, 2013 and lasting 5 days being through Sunday March 10, 2013. The Brown Convention Center is located in downtown at 1 Avenida de las Americas Houston Texas 77010. Depending on where you live in Katy the Convention Center is anywhere from 20-30 or so miles from Katy Texas and is easy to get there via Interstate I-10.

The City of Katy Dog Park was temporarily closed on February 19, 2013 and the scheduled reopening is hopefully set for Wednesday March 27, 2013 which coincides with “Paws in the Park” special event. The renovations include improvements to the existing pond and updating the lighting around the park.

If I knew how to play the drums, guitar, piano, sax, or any instrument I would write a new blues song about software headaches here in Katy Texas. This stuff has actually gotten worse as the days march on very quickly! I am not really sure at this point what to do or how to stop this weird stuff from going on. Maybe the real answer is I just have to “Man it up” as they say and get use to it.

My wife and I have taken a short trip from our home in Katy Texas to Bastrop Texas. This trip was part of our Valentine’s Day celebration. We love to come here to relax as we stay at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort. It is always so pretty here and we enjoy taking walks along the golf course and few other activities. We will be back tomorrow as we both have to get back to work. Below are a few pictures I took on this trip.
