Sprinkler System/Irrigation Problems Consider Southwest Irrigation
My sprinkler system at our home was not running properly for most of the summer plus we had a major leak. One section was not was not functioning at all. I had to turn off the water to the system so the leak would stop. Several of the sprinkler heads were not coming out of the ground and the darn system was coming on twice a day with one time in the middle of the night. I called more than 4 different companies over a period of time to try to setup an appointment and no … (13 comments)

Almost Wordless Sunday - Trader Joe’s Flowers
I went out early yesterday to buy groceries yesterday morning so I could get a jump on the heavy rain. I went to what is my favorite store being Trader Joe’s (TJ’s) in Katy to buy several things including some flowers for Yolanda. I had remembered this time to bring my camera as my IPhone pictures plus virtually everything is not so good. I took some pictures of their flowers as there are so many wonderful colors. TJ’s flowers are reasonably priced compared to other retail outlets.

Home Buyers in Katy - What to do when Competing with All Cash Buyers
All-cash buyers may have scorned you in the past, and you may be left wondering how you can compete with what appears to be an impossible situation. The good news is that it’s not impossible to defeat them but difficult. Just like with the purchase of any home, it’s very important to be pre-approved for a mortgage and to be working with a competent loan officer.  As an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) and professional Realtor, I can help you navigate this whole process.

New Guard Dog on Duty| Starting Taxes in Katy
Yolanda posted a blog yesterday concerning our new family member. The picture below is her on guard duty at her new home. Duchess is a very small and petite dog weighing less than 11 pounds. I am afraid to let her be in the backyard alone as we have numerous predatory birds let alone other animals who could grab her very easily. She is very smart and does let us know when something is happening outside. She seems to be trained  to go outside for going potty. She has been here … (18 comments)

A Document Nightmare without Electronic Signature or DocuSign
Several years  ( first post I had typo of tears!) ago when I was first starting in the real estate business, I had a buyer client who was moving from out of state to the Katy, Texas area. My clients decided to spend about 9 days in the Katy area during August that year to look for homes for … (4 comments)
