The 4th of July weekend is quickly approaching! A week from today is July 4th, so this weekend you'll be sure to find great firework shows in the Poconos!
Saturday July 3rd at 7pm, Shawnee Mountain will display their Independence Day Fireworks.  There are vendors, a DJ and a BBQ beginning at 7pm.  The fireworks display is at dusk, approximately 9pm.  The cost is $10 a car-load, and benefits the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company.
Sunday July 4th, 2pm-9pm, East Stroudsburg is holding its annual Freedom Festival at Dansbury Park.  Local non-profit groups, artists, businesses, and other institutions will be present to show the community … (0 comments)

CNNMoney.com reports today's average 30-year fixed mortage interest rate as 4.73%! And the 15-year fixed mortage interest rate is reported as 4.12%!  Here in the Poconos, we have nearly 2,800 residential homes for sale in Monroe County, and 125 of them are foreclosures.  There is a large selection of homes in all price ranges! This Saturday, June 19th, Barley Creek in Tannersville is hosting Summerfest 6!
