The Club at Mediterra and Bonita Bay doing just fine...
After a long, protracted and highly publicized turneover The Club at Mediterra is doing just fine. In fact, it's expanding! Max Passino, Director of Membership stated "The success of the turnover was greater than the financial model and projections predicted."
From turnover to the members through June the Club added 70 new members, reported Passino.
Given the success and financial condition of The Club it was decided to add two popular amenities - Bocce and a new Bar/Dining Gathering Area.

Grandezza Golf & Country Club sold to the Klass Family of Naples - 10/16/10 09:44 AM
Florida Development Partners (Stock Development), the official entity that has owned The Club at Grandezza since its inception, has finally sold the club (golf course, club house, sales center, and guard house/entrance) to the Klass family of Naples.
Developers build clubs, golf courses, and club houses and amenities as a main attraction and marketing tool to sell the development. Grandezza is long sold out. Now, it's time to move the club to an entity interested in running and managing golf courses and private membeship clubs and the assiciated amenities for the benefit of the community and the members.

"What do you think this foreclosure freeze will do to prices and inventory in the Naples area?"
This question was sent to me just today buy a customer that I'm working with. I thought others may be wondering the same thing. Here is my take on it and how I replied:
Good question.
I don't think that it will change prices much, but I think we'll see the price paid for closed sales go up as there will be much fewer bank-owned that close in the next 30-60-90 days.
