Whittier Uptown Family Fair Grand Opening 2010
The Uptown Whittier Family Fair had it's Grand Opening last night in Uptown Whittier. The weather was perfect, and the vendors were ready for a great season.
Here is an overview of the Uptown Family Fair, starting with the vendors putting out their merchandise to the official ribbon cutting ceremony:

It's back! After a long Autumn and Winter of not knowing if the Uptown Whittier Wednesday Night Family Fair was going to return this year, it is finally coming back on July 7, 2010.
I'll be posting new information about the 2010 season of the Uptown Whittier Wednesday Night Family Fair on this site later. In the meantime, here is some information about last year's events.

Weekly Family Fair in Uptown Whittier is the Place to Go for Fun, Food and Shopping
In the summertime, you will often find me on Wednesday evenings in Uptown Whittier, walking up and down Greenleaf Avenue during the Weekly Family Fair. The street is blocked off and filled with vendors under canopies. Among them you will find sellers of products such as candles, toys and jewelry, and services such as massage, ear candling and non-profit groups.
This is where I eat my dinner on Wednesdays, fresh from the street vendors. There are BBQ sausages, chicken and pork for hot dishes. If … (0 comments)
