Just when you think the market can't possibly get crazier.  It does.  How many times have you convinced your buyer not to purchase a short sale?  5, 10, 30, times.  The reasons:
It takes too long for a short sale There are too many uncertanties Even if you are willing to wait the buyer may still not be able to purchase it. So many reasons.  Well now with the most recent events unfolding concerning bank owned properties, I believe instead of deterring your buyers to purchase short sales we should convincing our buyers to purchase the short sales.

Palm Aire wins lawsuit with Wells Fargo. Awarded condo with no Mortgage - 10/06/10 02:47 PM
A huge development and precedent set in Florida.  Palm Aire Condo Association located in Pompano Beach, FL filed a foreclosure action about a year ago, and claimed that Wells Fargo purposely delayed foreclosure proceedings.  Next step, Palm Aire filed a lawsuit against Wells Fargo, and a judge awarded Palm Aire Condo Association the property without any mortgage. 
This is a huge precedent set, and I am sure many associations will follow suit.  Maybe the banks will start taking notice and not hurting these associations which in turn hurts the homeowners in these associations.

The City of Boca Raton Finally Owns Mizner Park's Amphitheater - 10/05/10 12:02 PM

 
Finally the day has come where The City of Boca Raton has taken back its Mizner Park Amphitheater.  Located in downtown Boca Raton, Mizner Park is one of the staples of the City of Boca Raton.  Along with its upscale restaurants and boutique shops the amphitheater brings people and business to the shopping center.
Now that The City of Boca owns the Amphitheater, they have their work cut out as they must start the renovation process.  Not just the repairs, but the repairing of the Amphitheater's image and they need to bring in many more exciting events and concerts.  I am looking forward to the new direction
