New Taylorsville Zip Code: Attention everyone living in the Taylorsville area and outlying areas.  This may affect you and if you have a listing in this area, please check to make sure your listing information is correct.

MOVE THAT BUS! Extreme makeover in Utah - 06/29/11 10:29 AM
Move that bus! extreme makeover is in Utah again.  Once again the great people from Extreme Makeover have blessed another Utah family.  Like ants on an ant hill the works and volunteers were hard at work last week wrapping up the project yesterday by the 2pm deadline.  Amazing but true once again they were able to build a home and help another family out.  Thousands of workers along with over a thousand volunteers helped work on the home.  The project began June 23rd.  This time the home was located in the Daybreak area.  Daybreak is a community located West of Salt … (2 comments)

Safety Reminder: lock your doors and shut your garage doors.  This morning I  got up early and went for a walk with another neighbor.   As we were walking we came across a wallet in my side yard. You see when I took the listing you said you wanted to sell your home.  You said you would allow showings. You said you would be available to reach.  You said you would leave and not be present when showings were scheduled. You said you were ready to move asap.  You even signed my paperwork agreeing to all the of above items and more.

Sandy Utah Housing Stats from 2005 to 2011.  Very interesting to watch how the price has fluctuated.  This has been a great report to show my sellers in the Sandy area.  Visually seeing the numbers helps them understand the true pricing for the Sandy area.  This is especially usefull when you have sellers that want to price high to "test" the market.  Unbelievable the drop in average price sold .

How ProTek saved me.  Last night I made a critical error.  I had a glass of red wine in my hand walking down my hall in the dark.  As I was walking I bumped into the clothes basket my kids put in the hall.  The glass spilled all over my white jacket, carpet, door, and the clothes basket. Ugh

I got to see the penguins! - 06/02/11 03:42 PM
I got to see the penguins! Today was the last field trip of the year for my daughters 4th Grade class at Grace Lutheran School in Sandy, Utah. We had a blast thank you so much to the Living Planet Aquarium for arranging the school tour/field trip.  It was fabulous!
The penguins are new to the aquarium within the last year.  They were so playful and I could have stayed there all day watching. They are so strong and you can really tell when they go from plunging into the water, swimming around to flying out of the water back on … (3 comments)

May 31 day challenge recap of blogs written. Wow, I actually loved the challenge of making sure a blog was written everyday.  Even though everyone says a habit takes 21 days to make, even after 31 days I'm not sure this is truly a habit yet....
