$5 Dollar Adult Dance Classes Murray Utah

Have you always wanted to dance? Do you miss dancing? Has everyday life gotten you stressed out? If you need a break and want to get your groove on, check out the adult dance classes at Studio56.

Tuesday night are Adult Hip Hop Nights from 9-10pm. Every week you will be taught a new routine. Come listen to some great music, learn a new routine and get your stress out. A fantastic staff will make sure you get your monies worth and then some. Adult classes are open, just show up, bring your $5 and be ready to dance.

Wednesday nights are Adult Jazz nights from 7:45-9:15. A lot of us took jazz classes when we were young, well nows a great time to dust off the jazz dancer inside of you. Show up and be ready to learn a new combo, stretch and start improving your flexibility. Wear your work out clothes and bring your $5.

Both classes are based on an intermediate level. You can take it from there. Make it harder or take it down a level until your comfortable. Whatever you do make sure you bring some water.

Scheels Sporting Goods Grand Opening, Sandy Utah. The wait is almost over and Scheels Sporting Goods will finally open their doors on September 29th. The invitation only shopping adventure is set for the 28th. I can't wait. We plan on attending the private opening and get to see what all the hoopla is all about. I'm excited for the athletic wear and shoes. My husband is an avid fisherman and hunter so we will both be like kids in a candy store.

Scheels is known for its variety of sporting goods equipment. They are located in Sandy at 11282 South State Street. I drive by the massive building everyday while taking my kidto and from school at Juan Diego in Draper.

The Scheels store is massive, you can't miss it. Its over 220,000 sqft. HUGE. They have a 16 car ferriswheel in the middle of the store. Rides are $1. I remember thinking the little horses outside of Kmart were cool back when I was a kid, I can't imagine how much begging parents are going to hear from their kids everytime they drive by let alone walk into Scheels "I wanna ride the Ferris Wheel" I wonder if they will have punch cards for frequent riders do they take tokens, debit, credit cards .....

The store will also feature a 16,000 gallon salt water aquarium, and large oversized features highlighting the department i.e. a seaplane hanging from the ceiling for the boating area,

10 Years Ago We Arrived in Utah

10 Years ago we arrived in Utah. If you were to have ever asked me while growing up where I thought I would end up living or want to live, Utah would never have been uttered or even thought of. When my husbands job said guess what you're moving to Salt Lake, I didn't know whether to cry or laugh or both. I had a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. I knew very little about Utah.

I look back and laugh. Over the last 10 years I have grown to love it here. I almost fell prey to the 2 year turn as I affectionately call it. Ready to call the Uhaul and pack our gear and leave. We didn't land in the idea city for me when we first arrived but after a few years I figured it out and we moved to a fabulous area that I really enjoy.

My first few years in Utah had some ups and downs for sure. I can relate to

living in the extended stay hotel for almost a month hiding the cat (no pets allowed) and trying to entertain two young kids while we waited for our home to close (that experience is why I became a Realtor 9 years ago) all of our belongings in storage and our dogs at the new home that wasn't really ours... awkward for sure but grateful they helped us out with that problem.
moving across the country and not knowing a single person.
moving with kids and pets.
having to buy/find a home in one day.
a lot of the common hurdles people face when moving to a new area.
having to find a new family dr, dentist etc. My son had to have surgery a few months after we moved here. That was scary trying to pick out a dr. and praying you choose wisely.
I can relate to starting over completely.

A few of my adventures the first week we arrived include

getting completely lost, who does that in Salt Lake? everything is off of a grid here. I laugh now but boy was I mad and frustrated.
Driving to the store my new neighbor said was the best place to shop only to find out it wasn't a department store it was a bulk grocery store with the same name.
Moving to such a small town that everyone still have bright blue eye shadow and the Mall Bangs from the 80's, yet the year was 2002
going to the state fair, I've been to a lot of state fairs but never like that one thats a whole different story

My list of strange places, people and things that happened to me is very long so I'll stop there but..... 10 years later we are staying and its the only place our kids remember living.

There are so many places to go, things to do, sites to see. I always tell everyone, if you are bored living here its because you want to be. You really can find a lot of things to do with very little money having to be spent.

Where else can you live 20 minutes from world class skiing/snowboarding and afford to live there? Living here has also allowed us choices when it comes to schools. Public vs. private. We've gone the private school route and have loved every minute of it.

The weather in Salt Lake is still great this time of year. Our evenings are finally starting to cool down and the days are still warm and full of sunshine.

Who do you call in Utah when its an emergency? non 911 information for Utah. Utah has put together a great website for consumers to go and check out who t call when its an emergency in Utah but its not a 911 call. I've often wondered over the years I should report that, but who do I call. Then you stumble around to find a phone book in the good ole days or google who you need to call. Now they even have an app for your iphone, android or blackberry. Now you'll always know who to call for all your non 911 needs.

I've printed the local information out and put it on my refrigerator for my family.

you can even enter in your zip code and get a detailed list of numbers like I did shown below for the zip code 84093 in Sandy Utah
