The Festival of Trees has become a favorite holiday tradition for residents of the Treasure Valley for more than 25 years and has raised over $7 million to improve healthcare in our community. What began as a modest display of 14 trees in a local warehouse, has grown to become a yuletide extravaganza including breakfast with Santa, live performances, arts and crafts, a raffle, teas, fashion shows, gift shop and of course the magical decorations. Well, some people may not think that a name is such a big deal: however, other folks will answer that question with a loud and clear, “EVERYTHING.”  So, how did we get our nickname for this little piece of heaven that we call TREASURE VALLEY, IDAHO?
